Communications at IDEA Public Schools The Communications division is comprised of two teams:
Communications and Creatives Services.
Together they support the critical areas of student and staff recruitment, internal, external, and digital communications, publications, events, brand management and creative design.

Communications Internal - student and staff communications and publications External - public relations, media, family, and crisis communications Digital - data tracking, social media, website and blog content, web monitoring and reporting ? Creative Services - brand management, graphic design, digital and print design, videography Position Overview:
The Digital Communications Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the IDEA Public Schools' brand and sharing the story of IDEA through growing social media and digital channels, supporting with reputation management and writing and reporting key communications metrics and insights.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting with the management of campus and national social pages, developing social campaigns, reputation management tactics and assisting with audits of the external facing website.
In this role, the coordinator will focus on supporting the digital communications team with research, planning, writing and posting content for social media, blog content, engaging key audiences, monitoring social comments, reporting and other duties as assigned.
Accountabilities:
Support with Reputation Management Support efforts on social media reputation management, including the management of daily monitoring of comments and messages across channels and propose strategies and messages to continue to build and protect the brand.
Assist in the daily monitoring of comments and messages.
Develop campaigns based on data & feedback received on our social media platforms that will focus on reputation management.
Project manage campaigns in partnership with IDEA's internal creative team to have all finalized social graphics approved and posted on our National social channels/ post to internal SharePoint platform for partner use on regional campus social pages.
Monitor and respond to emails received in the Communications inbox daily and share with the appropriate departments/ team members as necessary.
Ensure 100% of National social content is relevant, timely, and on brand.
Support & partner with the Digital Communications Manager on the posting of editorial content with at least one post per day per channel.
Develop social copy& creative templates to support social media admin at the campus level to generate social media content that aligns with established content guidelines.
Ensure that all assigned accounts are reflective of the most up-to-date organizational information and have an ever-changing look and feel (cover photos swapping, profile information is up to date, etc.
) Ensure 100% of IDEA's affiliates (campus pages) & Careers social accounts are updated regularly with relevant content quarterly.
In partnership with the Digital Communications Manager, provide campus-level resources, training, and best practices for managing campus social media pages.
Assist in the development and distribution of a monthly social media newsletter for campus administrators.
Monitor tracker of all campus team members additions and removals as requested through our team's Wrike form.
Supporting IDEA's newest campuses with support in developing social media copy templates, partnering with the creative team to develop brand aligned social templates, FAQ documents for social media, and additional resources as needed.
Website Support:
Partner with the SEO Content Manager in conducting website audits to make sure all information on external facing website is accurate and up to date.
Utilize the WordPress platform to support minor landing page edits, blog posting support and updating images for business partners.
Compensation &
Benefits:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $42,500 and $49,300, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.
This role is also eligible for a performance bonus based on divisional performance and goal attainment.

Experience:
1-3 years professional experience Individual goals Support DCM in monitoring all National Social Channels and respond to 90% of comments and messages within 48 hours of receiving them.
Support IDEA's affiliates campus FB pages with engagement, student recruitment, and brand awareness by creating toolkits, resource folders, and updated training to support fb admin at campuses.
Support Careers/ Human Assets team by monitoring FB page engagement, staff recruitment, and brand awareness by creating toolkits, resource folders, and updated training to support fb admin at the regional level.
Conduct bi-annual audit of IDEA's external website content to ensure content is up to date, compliant, and on-brand across the IDEA network.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
