The role of the Apprentice Installer is to assist in the installation of the Re-Bath product/service model and learn the prescribed company's processes and procedures.
Apprentice Installers will report to Lead Installers who will set the tempo and priorities of the project.
Our installation teams (Lead Installers and Apprentice Installers) are a primary customer contact in our business.
Besides technical expertise, appearance, attitude, and demeanor are critical attributes of the successful installation technician.
Excellent customer service is a big key to success at Re-Bath.
Apprentice Installers will enjoy excellent compensation and growth opportunities.
They must be available Monday through Saturday and some evening and weekend work might be required, as needed.
We do full bathroom remodels that involve installing/replacing bathtubs and showers with acrylic and natural stone wall products in the wet area.
We also offer flooring, vanities, lighting, toilets and more.
We strongly encourage apprentice, journeyman and master plumbers to apply.
Finish bath and kitchen carpenters, acrylic bath liner and replacement specialists, general finish carpenters, drywall and tile specialists.
Applicants with very high-level skills and experience will be considered for non-apprenticeship Installer and Lead Installer positions.
Duties & Responsibilities Working in an efficient, neat and orderly manner while in customers' homes.
Good communication skills are essential.
We seek a strong problem solver and critical thinker.
Must take pride in workmanship never shortcutting the process.
Must maintain a professional appearance, dress, grooming at all times.
Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Must be proficient at measuring and cutting accurately.
Must be comfortable working in small confined areas (bathrooms).
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and 50 state background check.
Must have a reliable vehicle, driver's license, and a good driving record.
A vehicle with towing capabilities is a plus.
You must know how to correctly use and read a measuring tape.
Must keep and maintain in good condition all tools, equipment and company trailers and vehicles.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
Must be able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and safely lift and easily maneuver items frequently weighing up to 100 pounds.
Previous experience in remodeling is helpful but not mandatory.
Experience in one or more of the following will be preferred:
Drywall / Sheetrock Tile / Granite / Natural Stone Rough/Framing and Finish/Trim Carpentry Acrylic or SSP Wall Installation Rough and Finish Electrical Rough and Finish Plumbing Painting Tile and Wood Flooring Cabinets Countertops Bathtub, shower, shower doors Benefits Compensation Commensurate With Experience.
$14-$18 per hour or higher for more experienced candidates.
This is an employed position, not 1099.
