The Operations Onboarding Manager leads the area-wide efforts to provide the best-in-class onboarding experience for all new hires at IDEA Public Schools.
The Onboarding Manager will manage the day-to-day execution of the Operations First Week Onboarding Program as well as larger operations strategies for new onboarding initiatives.
By maximizing the quality of a new hire's experience at IDEA, the Operations Onboarding Manager will help equip all new hires to do their best quality work in service to our quest to make college for all children a reality.
Location:
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Texas with preference given to candidates who live in Austin, El Paso, Houston, Permian Basin (Midland/Odessa), Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Tarrant County (Fort Worth), or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectations:

Travel up to 60% may be required depending on candidate's location and onboarding priority sites.
What You'll Do - Accountabilities Essential Duties:
Train and provide real-time feedback to department trainers completing onboarding actions Manage and evaluate responses to First Week End-of-Day Exit Tickets, 10-Day, and 30-Day Onboarding Surveys Conduct pulse checks with new hires Design projects to improve additional onboarding structures (30-Day, 60-Day, and 90-Day Skills, etc.
) Invest stakeholders at all levels in the organization to be champions of Onboarding programs Create quality communications for Onboarding programs Conduct regular audits and quality checks of Operations Onboarding programs Review exit surveys and leaver data for onboarding process improvements Lead inter-departmental working groups to create, implement, and evaluate Onboarding programs Lead inter-departmental working groups to regularly review Onboarding Survey Feedback and action plan based on data Use onboarding data (survey, exit tickets, pulse checks) to identify process improvements and best practices Create training materials for managers for onboarding new hires Partner with managers to provide resources and accountability for onboarding plan execution Design on-demand and live training for new hires Maintain current and quality resources on the HUB site Develop effective partnerships across IDEA's Human Assets and Operations that enable coordination and implementation of new hire onboarding plans Develop effective partnerships with IDEA's Research & Analysis Team that enables coordination and improvement in onboarding survey processes and data analysis Additional Duties and

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time without being able to leave the work area.
Must be able to climb ladders or scaffolding, or climb and work in overhead areas Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 35 pounds regularly for deliveries Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, running and climbing stairs.
Must be able to lift and carry small children up to 40 pounds in case of emergency.

Benefits:
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $74,764 and $87,100, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.
This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment.
